The results of research of young scientists in the following areas: geography, hydrology, hydrophysics, hydrobiology, hydrochemistry, paleolimnology, modeling. In contrast to previous events held by the scientific and educational center of IUPS KarSC RAS since 2007. With the support of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Petrozavodsk State University, the Russian Geographical Society, many more Russian and foreign scientists participate in this conference. The event is aimed at strengthening the interaction of talented youth in the field of science and education in close cooperation with domestic and foreign institutions of higher education and scientific organizations. The conference was organized as part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Institute of Water Problems of the North KarSC RAS and the 70th anniversary of the Karelian Scientific Center of RAS .
