The “simplicity” of this teaching is the simplicity of the truth itself, which whether expressed in a particular teaching of the Church proves to be a refreshing source of clarity amid the confusion caused in modern minds by various delusions and empty speculations of recent centuries. In each chapter of this book, an attempt is made to point out the patristic and hagiographic sources containing this doctrine.
