The first of the fundamental monographs of the famous English scientist Penrose and the famous American scientist Rindler, in which for the first time in the world literature a wide range of issues related to spinor methods in theoretical physics is presented from a single position. The authors describe 2-spinor calculus, giving the spinor structure itself physical space-time, and understand this as a deeper level of description than the usual approach using world tensors. The second book by the famous English scientist Penrose and the famous American scientist Rindler is written as a continuation of the previously published book by the same authors “Spinors and Space-Time” Two-spin calculus and relativistic fields" (M.) : World, 1987), but quite independent, as it reproduces all the necessary material from the previous book. It is a fundamental monograph, in which for the first time in the world literature, a wide range of issues related to the twistor methods (proposed by Penrose) in theoretical physics are presented from a single position .. The authors set out spinor and twistor methods, endowing the spinor (twistor) structure with the very concept of diversity, which is the basis of physico-geometric “dynamics”. For generalist theoretical physicists (not only working in the field of relativistic physics and particle physics) in mathematicians, as well as postgraduate and undergraduate students of relevant specialties .
