Section I presents a system of classes on scientific style of speech for students of the preparatory faculty . Section II is a collection of texts and questions to them, intended for self-study. Each lesson is provided with a text containing information of a scientific nature and a dictionary of terms containing Russian, English and French versions. For botanical terms, the Latin name . is also given. The system of pre-text, pre-text tasks helps foreign students to understand not only the proposed text, but also to develop the skills of reading scientific literature, to relieve difficulties in mastering the disciplines of the natural scientific cycle. When performing post-text tasks, skills are developed to reproduce the material read with a given degree of curling, highlighting the necessary information and presenting it in a certain form and sequence. Students learn to create their own text, defining the intention of statements, observing a logical sequence, adequately using language tools.
