The processes of shock and explosive loading of solids play an important role in engineering, industry, military affairs. When designing structures intended for operation under impulse loading conditions, it is necessary to know the current level of damage in order to predict possible destruction. In the case when the damage exceeded the critical value, information about the location and nature of the destruction, the shape of the destroyed parts is of interest, and in the crushing tasks - information about the number of fragments formed during the destruction, their shape, size, speed and distribution by mass .. The implementation of such a forecast is associated with the solution of the problem of determining the space-time distribution of foci of destruction (cracks, pores) arising in the process of deformation of the material, which is possible only with the use of numerical modeling of the loading process.
