This textbook - the winner of the competition of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation - is addressed to students of technical universities with in-depth study of physics, as well as students of physical and mathematical faculties of classical universities. The presentation is carried out at a modern level with a fairly high degree of formalization, but mathematical training beyond the technical university is not expected from the reader - all the necessary additional information is included directly in this course. The subject of the second volume is quantum physics of atom, nucleus and elementary particles, as well as statistical physics and thermodynamics. The final section analyzes the evolution of our views from the classical to the quantum system of nature description, examines the question of the origin of the world, the behavior of matter in extreme conditions.
