The first part contains all the reports and messages devoted to maps of metamorphism, in the second part - general problems. The collection contains all commissioned reports that were in the program and read at the symposium, with the exception of the first B. report. I. Cholesterol and Reports A. A. Marakusheva et al . , L. L. Perchuk and C. P. Korikovsky, who in one form or another were previously published or put into print. Instead of these reports in the collection, their theses are repeated. In addition to the 23 main reports, the collection includes most (13) fixed (10-minute) speeches, the authors of which sent their materials. As a result, the published materials quite fully reflect the work of the symposium and the state of research conducted in the USSR on the issues posed in the title of the collection. In this respect, we are at the forefront of the world and further research will hopefully build on the success achieved at this stage. Undoubtedly, the published collection will attract the attention of a wide range of geologists - both specialists of academic and industrial institutions, since the Decision and reports contain many practical recommendations.
