Training manual developed for the discipline "Political stigmatization" for the direction of training 39. 04. 01 Sociology . The processes of stigmatization demanded by social and political practice are considered. Stigma is characterized as a tool for suppressing opponents, unwanted and uncomfortable people who have physical and other deviations. The use of various types of stigma - marks, labels becomes a means of isolation, removal of people from society, decommunication, breaking social ties and relationships of these persons. In the manual, on the example of research and socio-political practice, an interdisciplinary analysis of the processes and mechanism of stigmatization, some methods of studying stigmatization manifestations . is given. The textbook is intended for undergraduates of the field of study "Sociology", and can also be useful for undergraduates of managerial specialties of universities, for professional sociologists, political scientists and those researchers from related professions who have a steady interest in sociology.
