At the heart of the tutorial is the idea of interrelated and simultaneous development of a group of speech skills (reading, speaking, listening) necessary in the professional communication of future specialists in the field of nanoengineering. The central theme of the text material of the manual is nanoengineering nanomaterials development technologies, their properties and application. Many creative and discussion tasks are used, as well as tasks aimed at analyzing specific situations by future specialists, which creates interest and motivation when learning a foreign language. The professional and language components of the training manual are organically interrelated, and the new training material is elaborated in pre-text and post-text exercises and fixed in creative tasks focused on solving professional tasks. The purpose of the textbook is to prepare students to read original literature in the specialty and conduct a conversation on the topics provided by the program of language training of bachelors in the direction of "Nanoengineering" . In the preparation of the textbook, materials on nanotechnology were used, presented in the public domain on the Internet. Most of the materials have been revised and adapted by the authors of the textbook. Based on them, vocabulary and glossary . are compiled. Designed for classroom, independent and individual work of students during the I-II semesters of the I course, corresponds to the clock grid and the working program of the Department of Foreign Languages in professional communication of the KNRTU .
