The proposed course of general astronomy is divided, as is usual, into two parts. The first sets out the main provisions and methods of classical astronomy, the second the main problems of astrophysics. Our course is designed for all students studying astronomy for the first time. However, students without mathematical training, such as geographers, can skip more complex paragraphs printed with petite, which will not lead to any gap in the coherence of assimilation.
