This problem solver arose on the basis of practical exercises on the equations of mathematical physics at the physical faculty and the correspondence sector of Moscow State University .. The tasks proposed in these classes were used in the course "Equalities of mathematical physics" A. N. Tihonova and A. A. Samara and in the glass-graphed "Collection of problems in mathematical physics" B. M. Budaka. However, in the preparation of the present problem book, the range of issues under consideration has been significantly expanded, and the number of tasks has been increased several times. Much attention is paid to the problems of derivation of equations and boundary conditions. A significant number of tasks are provided with detailed instructions and solutions. Tasks that are close in nature are provided with only answers. Chapters are divided into paragraphs by methods of decision. All this is aimed at enabling students by independent study to achieve elementary technical skills in solving problems in the main sections of the equations of mathematical physics. At the same time, the problem solver does not claim to cover all the methods used in mathematical physics.
