Assuming the reader some, at least vaguely learned or half-forgotten information, the book seeks to refresh and clarify them by analyzing a number of mechanical problems that are curious in one way or another. The book does not claim to exhaust all departments of mechanics and a comprehensive study of some of the phenomena described in it. In each task, the author fixes the reader's attention only on clarifying the role of a particular law of physics. A feature of the book is the presence of mathematical calculations that are made within the modest limits of the school course. Calculations are present where it is necessary to make accuracy in the question. The goal of "Entertaining Mechanics" is to increase interest in the subject and instill a taste for mechanical engineering.
