The Liturgy of John Chrysostom (Greek.) The liturgy of the Byzantine rite, which, according to the Charter, is performed on most days of the liturgical year in the Orthodox and Greek-Catholic churches. Authorship is traditionally attributed to Saint John Chrysostom, Archbishop of Constantinople. The Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom consists of three successive parts of the Proskomedia, the Liturgy of the announced and the Liturgy of the faithful.
