«Enjoy English» (8th grade) continues a series of textbooks with the same name and is one of the components of the UMC for the 8th grade of general education institutions in which English is studied from the 2nd grade. The textbook consists of four lessons, each of which is designed for one quarter . The learning process provides for the development of previously formed communicative skills of students in speaking, listening, reading and writing. At the same time, the emphasis is on the development of intellectual cognitive abilities of schoolchildren ,. to form a need for them to use English as a means of communication , to develop the desire for mutual understanding with representatives of a different culture and the ability to represent the culture of their own people . Contained in the textbook a variety of authentic material is interesting and available to adolescents 14-15 years old. In addition to the material for interrelated teaching of all types of oral and written communication, the textbook includes tasks for self-control and extensive reference material. The textbook is built in line with a person-oriented, communicative-cognitive approach to teaching foreign languages and meets the requirements for textbooks of the beginning of the third millennium.
