The dictionary contains articles on various branches of technology and general scientific disciplines . The dictionary aims to provide in the most concise form an explanation of concepts and terms on issues that may arise when reading newspapers, magazines, scientific and technical books. Each article contains a definition of the term, in many cases a concise description of the process, device or mechanism, an indication of the purpose and scope of application. A significant part of the articles is devoted to the explanation of scientific terms from the field of physics, chemistry, mathematics, mechanics, material resistance, hydraulics and other general technical disciplines. In the appendix to the Dictionary are tables of the most used in the technique of units of measurement.
