The proposed instruction is intended for beginners and theoretically poorly trained amateurs. Therefore, we confine ourselves to describing the manufacture of the simplest Newtonian reflector with a spherical mirror. However, one should not think that such a tool is not able to give good results .. On the contrary, except in cases where a large relative hole or a large field of view is important (for example, for observing comets and artificial satellites), it is practically not inferior to the best telescope. In comparison with the refractor of the same free hole, in most cases it will be better .. (From introduction)
