Easter - the main church holiday for Orthodox Christians . On this day, the Church celebrates deliverance from the burden of sins through Christ our Savior God, who freed all mankind from slavery to the devil and gave us life and eternal bliss. Easter is the crown of our faith, it is the first and the greatest truth that the apostles preached and for the sake of which many martyrs gave their lives, in the ranks of which our Optina soldiers of Christ also entered: Hieromonk Basil, the monks Ferapont and Trophim .. In the early Easter morning, three Stars ascended in the sky of Russian holiness and with their quiet light illuminate the souls of many and many people. Numerous pilgrims arrive in Optina to worship their holy graves and receive graceful help and consolation. Among our Orthodox contemporaries, we think, there are few people who do not have personal experience of prayer appeal to murdered brothers .. We thank all those who worked on the publication of this book, who made their humble contribution to the good memories of the holy new martyrs.
