Foster is rightly considered a leader, if not a living classic of today's high-tech architecture. His name became known thanks to super-technological architecture - after the construction of the production building "Riliance Controls" (1966) and the Newport competition for a new type of school with its becoming Foster's "company" top wiring of all complex equipment systems of the building (1967). Foster's buildings regularly get into the Guinness Book of Records on some technical indicator Foster is even associated with the special concept of "smart buildings" - when the house turns into a complex machine that is controlled by a serious computer station.
