The second working title of the story was “The Sound of Music and the Silence of Souls.” This title to a certain extent reflects the plot, but contains excessive pathos, which, according to the author, does not fully correspond to the spirit of the work. As a result, a decision was made in favor of a more prosaic title, under which this story is published. We invite you to familiarize yourself with the work and form your personal point of view regarding which title most accurately reflects the essence and atmosphere of the work.
