This book explores the results of research on the dynamics of movement and control of walking machines equipped with cyclic actuators. The mathematical models and calculation methodologies developed, along with the findings from experimental studies conducted in real-world conditions, enable designers to purposefully and rationally select the key parameters of these machines and their actuators during the design phase. Based on these methods, the walking machine "Octopus" has been created and successfully tested.
