This edition serves as a comprehensive guide for self-learners of the Tatar language who are proficient in Russian and possess a basic understanding of linguistics. The aim of this self-study manual is to introduce readers to the phonetic and grammatical structure of the Tatar language, familiarize them with key thematic vocabulary, and teach them to converse on everyday and cultural topics. It also enables them to read moderately difficult texts with the help of a dictionary and encourages further independent improvement of their language skills.
