In 1919, Adolf Hitler joined a small nationalist group in Munich and, a year later, renamed it the NSDAP. All political parties recruit well-physically trained people into their ranks, who are tasked with maintaining order at rallies and during processions, as well as suppressing provocations of political opponents. The NSDAP was no exception. In August 1921, the “Defense and Propaganda Detachment” arose, which, a month later, was renamed “assault detachments” - SA. Over the course of 12 years, this detachment grew into an army of almost three million, which unleashed real terror on the streets of German cities. The book talks about the creation, history, organization, and uniform of Hitler's Storm Troops. The text is accompanied by unique photographs. Color illustrations were prepared based on documents and give an accurate idea of the characteristic elements of the SA uniform. The book is addressed to a wide range of readers interested in the history of the Third Reich and military uniforms.
