In this work, the author sets the task to systematize and generalize the experience of designing building structures of nuclear reactors both in the USSR and abroad. With relatively limited experience in designing these structures , large number of types and different capacities of designed and built reactors, with constant change and improvement of reactor designs as experience of their operation and resolution of a number of physical and engineering tasks , It is not yet possible to type or classify the construction of reactors and their buildings. In describing the construction part of the reactor plants, the author sought to assess some of the most successful design solutions and to provide general (already proven) provisions.
