The only surviving work of Titus Livius, The History of Rome from the Foundation of the City, covers the events of Roman history from its legendary origins to civil wars and the establishment of an empire, t. e. Of the 142 books, 35 have survived to our time - from the first to the tenth and from the twenty-first to the forty-fifth, covering events up to 293 and from 219 to 167 g. before n. e.
