The textbook examines not only the specific neologisms of the Russian language of the late twentieth century. and trends in the development of the lexical system of language , but also some theoretical problems, which are related to the analysis of neoplasms , Controversial issues of neology (the science of neologisms) and neography (the science of the theory and practice of describing neologisms in dictionaries) , The author of the manual does not claim any theoretical discoveries in the field of neology. The main goal was to create a work that would allow everyone interested in the problems of neology to get acquainted in a convenient, compact form with the main problems of this fairly new but actively developing science. The proposed textbook can be used in the study of the course of morphemics, word formation and lexicology of the modern Russian language, as well as in the preparation of coursework, thesis and master's theses .
