The textbook is intended for training students of the 6th year of SZTU in specialty 200700 "Radio engineering" direction 654200 "Radio engineering" in the discipline of specialization "Transport information and control radio electronic systems". Historical and technical prerequisites for the emergence of modern fully automated transport information and control ergotechnical systems (TIUS) are considered. The main functionality, general structure and characteristics of technical means of TIUS are presented: radio navigation systems, analog and digital wired and radio communication systems, track numbering systems. The systems of electronic cartographic and software-mathematical support of TIUS are described, which, together with the technical means of TIUS, form transport information and control radio-electronic systems (TIURES) for various purposes . Methods of system design of TIURES of ground transport systems are given
