Man has always been concerned about whether we are alone in the universe. A prerequisite for the existence of life outside the Earth is the presence of planetary systems around many stars of the Galaxy. Until recently, even in this matter there was no clarity .. The situation with planets outside the solar system began to become clear only in recent years, and the first encouraging results on this burning problem came in 1991 from a completely unexpected field of science - relativistic astrophysics, engaged in the study of neutron stars and black holes. The planets were discovered near pulsars, rapidly rotating strongly magnetized neutron stars (!). We will describe the latest results of the search for planets outside the solar system
