Immediately after World War II, the Soviet Union was embroiled in a series of incessant conflicts around the world - on the Asian, African and South American continents, in deserts, jungles and impenetrable forests. Mentions of these “unknown” wars rarely appeared in open sources, their veterans gave a subscription of non-disclosure, victories and feats were silenced, and invaluable experience was never in demand. Even after the collapse of the Soviet Union, such information was published extremely sparsely, fragmentarily, scattered. This book was a great success..
