The book is devoted to the theory of asymptotic and iterative methods> used in solving resonance-type problems. The first part deals with asymptotic methods for solving nonlinear equations based on various averaging schemes. Much space is given to applications: the problems of vibration theory and celestial mechanics, hydrodynamics, elasticity theory. The second part is devoted to methods of constructing periodic and conditional-periodic solutions with the help of convergent iterative methods representing a generalization of the Lyapunov-Poincare method ..
