The book summarizes materials on the methodological foundations of calculations for strength, stability and oscillations of symmetrically loaded structures consisting of a set of rotation shells connected to each other directly or with the help of elastic spans .. The main attention is paid to the consideration of algorithms for numerical solution of nonlinear problems on the behavior of symmetrically loaded envelope structures, algorithms for determining critical loads, forms of bulging, as well as frequencies and forms of eigenfluctuations. These algorithms are implemented in the form of standard procedures in the algorithmic language ALGOL-60. The methodological foundations of algorithms and the peculiarities of their implementation on the computer are described in detail . The results of methodological studies give a complete picture of the possibilities of the proposed algorithms, the accuracy of the solutions received. The results of studies of stability and oscillations of the sheaths of rotation and other sheath structures. are also presented. Most of the solutions for stability and oscillations of the rotation shells are obtained in finished form and can be directly used in practice.
