The book has been prepared for the Third Readings on humane pedagogy - “Without a heart, what will we understand?” (2004) The deeper I got to know children and the professional life of a teacher (and this life is limitless), the more I was outraged by pedagogy textbooks: for some reason I did not feel in them love and respect for myself - for the teacher - and for my students. In them, even now, I do not find such a passionate call for the affirmation of the beautiful in life and for the knowledge of life, with which the children themselves strive for them and I, too, along with them.
