Daytripper recounts, in each of the ten episodes of which it is composed, various moments in the life of an obituary writer called Bràs de Oliva Domingos, concentrating on seemingly unrelated moments. The volume traces the different ages of the protagonist through these extracts from everyday life, focusing, without apparent chronological continuity, on the missed loves, on his adolescence, on his birth, on the ambiguous relationship with his father and above all on his death. In fact, one of the most curious and original aspects of this work consists precisely in the fact that, at the end of each single day / episode, Bràs dies; and every departure of him is accompanied by an obituary that remembers him for something that marked his life. The perfect compendium of this volume are the drawings of an extraordinary Gabriel Bà, capable of making each episode a graphic test in its own right.
