Pannochka is dying. The entire village mourns the serious illness of a woman who was considered a saint during her lifetime for her good deeds. A young priest arrives at night for the dying confession of the lady, but he had no idea what she was going to confess to him... The action takes place on the territory of Poland and Belarus, when they were part of the Russian Empire. Time: beginning of the 19th century. All characters are fictitious. There is a mixed dialect of Russian, Polish and Belarusian languages.
