She is a Senior Lecturer in Egyptology at Manchester University where she is tutor and course organizer of the three-year distance learning Certificate in Egyptology program. In addition to her academic research, she has published three books for children, including the highly popular Stories from Ancient Egypt (Oxbow edition 2012). Her most recent book, Tutankhamen's Curse: The Developing History of an Egyptian King (USA title Tutankhamen: The Search for an Egyptian King won the Felicia A Holton Book Award from the Archaeological Institute of America.About the Author: Julian Heath is an author and freelance archaeological illustrator based in Liverpool. He has a BA and an MA in Archaeology from Liverpool University, where he has lectured on archaeological illustration and the prehistoric world. His publications include Warfare in Prehistoric Britain (2009), Life in Copper Age Britain (2011), and Before Farming (2013). He illustrated Stories from Ancient Egypt and the updated version of the British Museum’s Dictionary of Ancient Egypt.
