The authors of the Collection of articles on the justice of the tradition “FRACTURE” (editor and compiler Alexander Shchipkov) continue the tradition of the pre-revolutionary “MILESTONES”. They came together to capture the societal shift that is happening before our eyes. We are talking about a new merging together of the concepts of Justice and Tradition in the consciousness of Russian society, about the synthesis of conservatism and leftist ideas, which political scientists have already dubbed a historical paradox. A hundred years ago, Vekhi authors captured the historical defeat and collapse of the Russian intelligentsia. This was a direct and frank conversation with society. The “Milestones” line was continued in the collections “Change of Milestones” and “From Under the Blocks.” As we see, she is still alive today, although the pressing topics and issues of the day are changing.
