The authors of this edition set the goal to give a detailed description of the historical process, overcoming the exceptional complexity of solving certain problems. In the text and in the notes, the existing hypotheses in science, discussion points of view, references to sources and to relevant literature are given. Analysis of the development of the historical process and its individual aspects is given on the basis of the Marxist-Leninist doctrine of the history of society. This work used all the achievements of Soviet historical science in the field of ancient history of Central Asia.
