This article briefly describes the new version of the Mv. package Studio 5. 0. which will be available to the user in the spring of 2008. A significant fundamental difference is the appearance of blocks with contacts. Thus, in the package, it becomes possible to implement the "physical modeling" available to users of Matlab and Modelica. However, Mv. users Studio 5. 0 will be able to create complex event-controlled devices, with almost arbitrary switching logic. An important difference for users is an improved editor of equations and functional diagrams.
