The problems of the dynamics of bodies in contact with a solid surface are briefly discussed. Theoretical justification is given for the curious dynamic effects observed in experiments: a change in the direction of rotation of the Celtic stone around the vertical without active external influence and the appearance of rotation in one direction or another due to oscillations around the horizontal axis.
