The ancient Greek philosopher Plato was a disciple of Socrates, who was highly revered, and a teacher of Aristotle. Believing that real philosophy can exist only under the condition of constant dialogue, Plato wrote his works in the same form, making Socrates the main character and putting his own thoughts into his mouth. Plato's "State" is the first attempt in the history of mankind to build a model of society in which everyone would be happy, and a model of the state where everyone would do what he does best. This idea is still relevant. All texts are provided with detailed comments and explanations. PDF A4 format saved publishing layout.
