Nikolai Pesotsky is the chairman of the People's Labor Union of Ukraine. What will humanity become in the near future? This question undoubtedly occupies everyone's mind. People have always strived to look into tomorrow. Such a desire is not alien to us today. It is also indisputable that world prospects largely depend on which path the most powerful modern superpower, the United States of America, takes. And what will the United States look like in two decades, in 2027? We present to your attention a forecast based on an analysis of some current trends. Probably, it cannot be denied that in 2027 America will still be surrounded by an aura of power and control over the world. Only now few people would dare to call this power complete and undivided. Perhaps, except for the highest leadership circles of the United States itself. This is the inertia of complacency, which is extremely dangerous both for individuals and for entire states. The common misfortune of the most powerful pre-existing empires and powers is the lack of a real assessment of what is happening on the part of their elites, the unwillingness to realize the obvious fact: if everything is left as before, collapse is inevitable. In the rapture of one's strength and imaginary indestructibility, there is a danger of “missing” the moment when the country begins to become a Colossus with feet of clay. Without waiting for 2027, we can say that the US rulers have already missed this moment. The most convincing evidence of this is the presence of a number of serious, and even deadly, conflicts into which America has drawn itself.
