Pushkin Celebrations of 1937 . became the brightest pages in the seventy-year history of Russian emigration - she managed the incredible: to organize a worldwide celebration of her national poet. The celebrations were held in 42 countries of five parts of the world, their witnesses and participants were residents of more than 200 cities. The Soviet Union, which gave this date unprecedented state and political significance, tried to intervene in foreign events, seize the initiative.
